Hello friends! I am wondering if you can help me with some dates. I know that Mindok took over the license to print Carcassonne from Albi and published their first C1 base game in 2005. There were three more printings after this, with the third printing taking place in 2009. I am trying to determine when the second and fourth printings took place.
The second printing from Mindok mentions "over five million games sold" on the front of the box. The back of the box will probably have a copyright year of 2001, but perhaps the rules inside the box will say when they were printed?
The fourth printing from Mindok features the characters on the sides of the box, and a row of meeples across the front. The front of the box also mentions "over seven million games sold". Considering this design matches the identical change in the German and English designs in 2013, I would expect that this fourth printing took place in 2013 or perhaps 2014. Again, I'm hoping the rules inside the box will confirm.
